Our pure vanilla extract is made from the highest quality Bourbon vanilla pods sourced directly from a tiny volcanic island archipelago just north of Madagascar, also known as the Spice Islands of Comoros.
Do not confuse pure vanilla extract with vanilla essence. Note that commercial vanilla essence is made without ever encountering a vanilla pod. While the aroma of essence is quite powerful, is actually a petrol chemical bi-product (yuk!)
